Bachmann Josef

From childhood on Josef discovered his passion in the natural ressource wood and what you can make out of it

His father, Johann Bachmann, was a farmer on the mountain side of the beaughtyful vally of Antholz. During the long wither months he enjoied to do some woodcarvings to sell it to the tourists. Josef decedet to make a profession out of his passion and began to learn under the hand of master of woodcarving Flavio Pancheri in St. Ulrich in Val Gardena. After finishing his five year artshool he opened his studio in Antholz in the spring of 1972.
