The wood used to make this ball is Swiss stone pine. The ball has a diameter of approx. 7 cm. The stone pine ball can be used as a closure for the water carafe, it becomes moist and the water attracts the aroma of the stone pine wood. The stone pine, or rather the smell of it, has a very relaxing effect and is good for your health.
Each ball is unique, as each piece of wood is unique too. There are balls with less grain and fewer knots and there are balls with a strong grain and several knots.
