St. Hubertus, according to legend, when he was hunting in the woods, was converted to Christianity by a magnificent deer with a shining cross between the antlers and later even became a bishop. Because of the deer, he is the patron saint of hunters, but also of marksmen, butchers, metalworkers, gunsmiths, mathematicians and opticians. He is a protector of nature and the environment, and a helper against rabies.
This wood-carved figurine is available in different sizes and finishes. For this wooden figure we use sycamore maple in sizes 15cm to 40cm. The size 60cm is in lime and hand carved.
